Teya est une artiste plasticienne contemporaine française.
   Sensible à la nature et aux problèmes liés aux comportements humains, elle travaille beaucoup les matières brutes, ou dites invisibles pour les valoriser. Ainsi, le papier journal, le carton, la sciure de bois ou de simples tiges de métal deviennent  matières premières de ses sculptures et installations contemporaines. Elle invente sans cesse de nouvelles techniques qui lui permettent de faire évoluer ses créations.
   Evoquant la survie et la régénération, tentant de redonner vie à la matière inerte, Clélia nous transporte dans un univers où les codes de l'évolution sont modifiés, où les hybridations sont l'avenir de la matière.
  Cette recherche autour de la vie la source des représentations végétales, animales et humanoïdes avec un style surprenant et original.
    Jeune artiste montante de la scène artistique française, ses oeuvres apparaissent également dans des magazines et reportages scandinaves et asiatiques où le public est tout aussi sensible à ses créations que le public local.

Biography

Teya is a plastic artist native of the south of France. It is especially by self-taught way that she invents and learns new techniques which allow her to develop her creations.
Interested by nature and problems bound to the human behavior, she works the invisible raw  materials a lot to value them. So, the paper, the craft, the sawdust of wood or simple metal rods become plastics material for sculptures and contemporary installations evoking the survival and the regeneration by trying to restore life in the destroyed material.
This research around the life explains the vegetable, animal and the humanoids representations  with a surprising style.
